# Challenges Faced by Creators

Despite the efforts of content production companies, many tickets are still being sold on second-hand platforms and personal social media. Scalped tickets are traded at premium prices, allowing third parties to profit while creators lose the opportunity to engage with their genuine audience. Although production companies implement strict identity verification and take measures to detect scalped tickets, the resale of tickets remains widespread. As a result, additional revenue that should go to creators is being intercepted by ticket scalpers.

Through the X-PASS platform, creators can receive a percentage of royalties on every resold digital collectible ticket, generating revenue from the secondary market. Additionally, creators face a lack of detailed audience information, leading to marketing efforts aimed at an unspecified general public, which often results in wasted marketing resources. In the musical industry, where revolving-door audiences (those who attend the same performance multiple times) contribute significantly to revenue, there is insufficient data on these audience members. The lack of effective channels to communicate with fandoms prevents creators from fully leveraging the power of strong fanbases. Furthermore, due to the limited availability of performance venues, seating, and showtimes, creators need to explore alternative ways to generate additional revenue.
